The Basel Latin Weekender is an annual salsa and bachata festival hosted by the Bailamos Salsa school in Basel, packing over 30 workshops, four themed parties and advanced masterclasses into a three-day weekend. Editions feature a lineup of international and local artists plus international DJs, all centred on the school's studio at Leimgrubenweg. The weekender mixes salsa and bachata with social parties across the festival nights and is a long-running fixture of the Basel Latin calendar, now into its tenth edition. It draws dancers from across Switzerland and neighbouring countries for an intensive, community-focused weekend.
